SWAAG (Students Working As A Group)

SWAAG provides a friendly environment that enhances youth opportunities and empowers youths as leaders while interacting with other communities and organizations. SWAAG promotes high attention towards education, research, sports recreation, social development, and community development. All students who have graduated from high school and were part of SWAAG have gone to pursue post-secondary education with remarkable grades and renewable scholarships from their choice of institution.

Future Explorers – After School Program

This DFRC program is targeted at children ages 8 to 13 and it aims at instilling the following into them:
-Healthy Eating
-Attaining physical outdoor activities
-Attaining crucial information regarding health and wellness
-Learning study habits that endorse education
-Taking initiatives to build friendship and team spirit
-Hoping for a brighter future as a result of healthy eating and physical activities

Basketball Mentorship Program

Delta Family Resource Center is proud to offer a basketball mentorship program that focuses on developing basketball skills as well as leadership skills. Every session provides TTC subsidies as well as a healthy snack.

This program is for children aged 11 - 14 and it runs from September to June and it requires pre-registration which can be done on-site, for more information please contact us at basketball@dfrc.ca
