Join us for a transformative and empowering experience during this year’s Black Mental Health Week, Monday March 4, 2024 – Sunday March 10, 2024. This year's theme “Growth and Reflection: The Year of Sankofa,” urges us to foster mental health and wellness within Black communities by embracing the principles of the International Decade for People of African Descent (UN IDPAD) - Recognition, Justice, and Development. Throughout the week, a diverse range of in-person and virtual discussions, activities, and events will be organized and hosted by various Black-serving community organizations and Black community healers. Inspired by this year's theme, these activities aim to engage and resonate with various segments of Toronto's diverse Black communities and foster a supportive environment for meaningful discussions and actions. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of this annual celebration of Black mental wellness, as we bring the community together to embrace growth and reflection, in the spirit of Sankofa. Together, let's make strides towards a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
