AWA (IT Learning Network, Business Incubator Hub)

The AWA Program empowers Black youth and young adults, ages 17–30, across the GTA—particularly those at risk or involved in the justice system—to gain the skills, confidence, and connections needed for income generation and long-term economic wellbeing. Through targeted training, mentorship, and resources, AWA creates pathways to both in-demand careers and successful entrepreneurship.

Our IT Learning Network offers a range of industry-recognized, certificate-based programs designed to prepare participants for high-growth careers in technology. With hands-on training and guidance from experienced instructors, participants gain the knowledge and skills needed to access competitive, well-paying jobs in the digital economy.

The Business Incubation Hub provides up to one year of intensive support for emerging Black youth entrepreneurs. Participants receive expert mentorship, business development training, networking opportunities, and access to workspace and resources, helping them transform ideas into sustainable businesses and thrive in the marketplace.
