Mmere Dane Youth Justice Program

Mmere Dane- a violence prevention program that provides wholistic community-based supports for youth (12y/o to 25+ y/o) and their families and their families as they navigate the justice system and other intersecting complex systems. The program is grounded in our Sesa Wo Suban model which places the bond and strength of families and communities at the centre of the work.

Services include: grounding and increasing knowledge that are critical to self identity, self care, mental health and wellbeing. The services further provide: resource navigation advice and supports; individual and family counselling, connection to cross sectoral resources services and programs as well direct internal and external referrals.
