Whether you are newly arrived or have been in Canada for a few years, our dedicated team is here to help you navigate key systems and connect with resources that promote successful integration and community engagement

SWIS Support for Newcomer Families

Our program focuses on helping immigrant and refugee families integrate smoothly and help accelerate the settlement process

into the school environment and the wider community.

Some of the services we offer include:

One-on-one support for students and parents 

Orientation sessions for newcomer students and parents

Information sessions on education, health, housing, and more

Interpretation and referrals to relevant community services

Support with school transitions for newly arrived students

Other relevant services based on needs identified
