We appreciate your inquiry about Delta Family and your interest in having Delta Family act as a trustee for your organization and your idea.
Capacity building is a priority for us at Delta Family. We have acted as trustees for more than 50 grassroots groups who have received funds from the City to organize events, activities and programs in local communities. These are usually small grants of $3,000 to $5,000. We have also acted as trustees for other organizations who have received significantly larger amounts from partners such as the Canadian Women’s Foundation, Youth Opportunities Fund and MLSE.
Delta Family provides monthly capacity building sessions for community residents and organizations. We are one of two Intermediaries for the Black Mandated Funding Foundation supporting nine grassroots Black agencies, and also support the seventeen Student and Family Advocate agencies with capacity building.
In order to partner with you to trustee a project, the group will first have to complete a Partnership Inquiry form, which ensures that both organizations share common values. Once the partnership has been established and the partner agency wishes to explore a trustee arrangement for a particular project, the group will submit a Trustee Inquiry form which outlines basic information about the project. Please complete the following Trusteeship Inquiry question questions below, and return to your contact at Delta Family.
